Hi, I'm Andrew.

Welcome! I am an MD/PhD candidate in the Indiana University School of Medicine and Purdue University Weldon School of Bioengineering combined Medical Scientist Training Program, currently applying for residency programs.

I recently completed my doctoral thesis in auditory neuroscience, co-advised by the Auditory Neurophysiology and Modeling Laboratory (Heinz Lab) and the SNAPLab. My research focused on using electrophysiological assays (like ABRs and EFRs) and statistical modeling to differentiate cochlear pathologies and understand how they impact pitch and periodicity processing. Moving forward, my goal is to bridge engineering and clinical medicine as a physician-scientist, utilizing data-driven translational measures to better link mechanistic animal models with human clinical disease presentations.

I enjoy a healthy balance of coding (obviously :sunglasses:), music, photography, and running in my spare time. Oh, and I love a good espresso.
